Salesforce now has crossed a chasm of sorts into the large enterprise, replacing in-house enterprise-wide systems, thereby posing a direct threat to the Siebels of the world. Establishing this kind of scalability on a hosted model is not just a boost to Salesforce, it's a validation for the whole SaaS market itself.</content><link rel='edit' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/13575764/13520374414451766/comments/default/8026520836341437409'/><link rel='self' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/13575764/13520374414451766/comments/default/8026520836341437409'/><link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://www.anshublog.com/2007/02/salesforces-big-win-bigger-hype.html?showComment=1172779020000#c8026520836341437409' title=''/><author><name>Hero Hiralal</name><uri>http://www.blogger.com/profile/09388592362774520675</uri><email>noreply@blogger.com</email><gd:image xmlns:gd='http://schemas.google.com/g/2005' rel='http://schemas.google.com/g/2005#thumbnail' width='16' height='16' src='http://img2.blogblog.com/img/b16-rounded.gif'/></author><thr:in-reply-to xmlns:thr='http://purl.org/syndication/thread/1.0' href='http://www.anshublog.com/2007/02/salesforces-big-win-bigger-hype.html' ref='tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13575764.post-13520374414451766' source='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/13575764/posts/default/13520374414451766' type='text/html'/><gd:extendedProperty xmlns:gd='http://schemas.google.com/g/2005' name='blogger.itemClass' value='pid-1504593632'/></entry></feed>
